Bhakti Bliss Beach Retreat

We invite you to join us in a journey to the heart where we will open up, sing, pray and dance as we celebrate the sacred medicine of music, song and sound in this unique 5 day oceanside retreat. As we learn to access our own sound, we will together create a safe container to hold each other as we discover the gift of sound moving through us. Allowing the vibration of sound to lead us to a shift in consciousness, we discover the meaning of resonance, as harmony in the heart.

OCEAN OF DEVOTION

Come reflect, refresh, and renew yourself on the Caribbean coastline of the Yucatán, home to turquoise waters and ancient Mayan ruins. At the Hotel Dos Ceibas Eco Retreat, you’ll find the tranquility of the white sand beach just steps away from your cabana. Let the sun kiss your skin and the waves of the ocean play the soundtrack to your journey inward. Reconnect with nature under the shade of coconut bearing palm trees and nourish yourself with consciously prepared meals.

SACRED PLANT MEDICINE

Mayan cacao has been described as “the food of the Gods”, and history tells us it has been used in Mayan and Aztec rituals for spiritual attunement and it’s various health benefits. We will be enjoying ceremonial grade cacao grown by the indigenous Maya in our homeland of Guatemala. Prepared traditionally as a hot, velvety drink; cacao can be a powerful heart opener, and gently reminds us of our divine interconnectedness and innate creativity.

MOVING THROUGH SOUND

Music and movement have a therapeutic ability to evoke emotional responses from us, creating space for deep meditative contemplation and unveiling the hidden language of the soul. Find your frequency as we blend traditional South American medicine songs with the devotional practice of bhakti, nāda, and mantra yoga through music, kirtan, chanting, free movement and self-expression.
